Many parents find it difficult to shoot video and be emotionally involved in the game. Our Videographers use the latest HD video equipment and have been trained how to properly capture the moment. Too often parents become fans at the critical moments and the highlight is lost forever. We do offer a service where we use your video, call us for a quote.

I want to show our game video at our team meeting?
You are able to download the video to your computer so you can show it on your laptop you can also transfer it to your mobile Smartphone (if capable) or you can convert the downloaded video to disc so it can be played on a DVD player. We send you complete instructions with the video link.

I’m parent how can I lower the cost for the season?
The best way to lower the cost is to share the cost with other parents. If four parents shared the cost to videotape the game (98.00 ÷ 4 =) $24.50 each

I’m a Team Mom; how have others raised money to cover the costs for the season?
Funding Options:

Divide the Cost: You can divide this cost among the players (25 ÷ $1,526.00 = $61.00 each)

Video Club: Parents who want the video will divide the cost among themselves. Only video club members have access (10 ÷ 1526.00 = $152.60 each) Video Club parents will also benefit the team because Coaches will have access to the private videos and the whole team will get a yearend highlight DVD.

Get a Sponsor(s): We have some branding opportunities. We are able to thank the sponsors in the video titles so the team will know who helped sponsor the video. Most teams get one to three corporate sponsors. Some corporations have sports sponsorships available to their employees.

Use a Combination: We have had team’s get a sponsor to pay for the yearend video and DVDs ($350.00) and the parents divided the cost of videotaping the games. Or you can use the video club option.

If a couple parents share the cost can you give us all quality highlights?
Yes we capture the event in HD video so we are able to crop into the video to give your player that close up look.

I’m not a coach, how do I know what is a highlight?
Your player knows what a coach is looking for. Have them help you select and rank the clips

Why should I get Custom Domain?
When you get a custom domain we are able to redirect that link to any website which allows us to change the content. When we send a video link we cannot change the content of that link.

Can you help get my son/daughter get recruited?
The recruiting process can be challenging. We provide the video part of the puzzle. We give you the ability to deliver the video to potential college coaches. We can make some recommendation if you are looking for a company that specializes in getting your son or daughter recruited.

Can you make a highlight video from my videotapes?
Yes but the cost is based on an hourly rate. The conversion process can be time consuming so we are not able to quote a flat rate.

You say the videos are private, can someone hack them?
We use Google/YouTube to provide our security. Your videos are safe from being seen by your competition.

How do I add someone to my private video list?
We use a two layer permission procedure through Google/YouTube. In order for a friend or parent to see your video they will have to have a YouTube Account. They will have to friend SeeMySport on YouTube. You will have to send a list of emails that are allowed to see your videos. If the email matches the email used to create the YouTube account they now have permission to see your video.

How long will our game videos be available on your server?
Raw game video will be on our server for six months Highlight videos are on for two years. We recommend that you purchase a DVD so you can have the video after it has been deleted from our video server.

What do we do?
We arrange to have a videographer travel to the specified location of your event and record the event. We use HD Cameras and the LongOPod (16’ high monopod) at locations without elevated stands. We post your video to our video server so you can watch and distribute the video online.

Where do we do it?
Currently SeeMySport will videotape events in the Orange County and San Diego areas. We will travel to Los Angeles and the Inland Empire for an additional $45.00 travel fee. Call us for a quote to travel outside of the Southern California area. We are actively seeking relationships with independent videographers anywhere in the world.

What are the benefits?
Hiring a professional videographer who is not emotionally attached to the event will always produce better results. Parents will often celebrate or forget they are videotaping at a time when capturing the event on video is the most important. Hiring a professional videographer allows the people who are emotionally attached to enjoy the event.

What makes us special?
Our Training, the LongOPod and Online Delivery:

Training: Our videographers are trained to properly videotape an event. We start out wide for the coaches and we move in at the end so the parents can see the faces of the players.

LongOPod: The LongOPod is a 16’ high monopod so the camera is 16’ in the air which allows the viewer to see how the players relate to each other. A video camera at field level is almost useless from a coaching perspective.

Online Delivery: The next day following the event you will receive an email with information which will allow you to watch the event online. The video can be securely forwarded to anyone on your approved viewing list. If they try and forward the video to someone else the video will not play, that way your event video will not fall into the wrong hands.

How much does it cost?
The cost to videotape an event (2 hr. max) and upload it to our video server is $98.00 per event.
The cost to create a close-up individual highlight video posted to YouTube starts at $79.00 per event

How do I order?
Go to our Online Order Page, sign up to become a member, log into your account and place an order. You will be notified within 24hrs if we are able to have a videographer videotape your event. If we are not able to fit your event into our schedule you will receive a full refund. Coaches and parents that have used our services in the past will receive scheduling priority.

How do I see the event?
Video links are securely sent to the email specified in the order. The person is than able to distribute the video link to anyone on their approved viewers list. If a DVD is ordered it can be picked up in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA or we will mail the DVD through the Post Office the following day after the event. (Postage fee extra)
